Join us at Waterstones Tottenham Court Road for an evening with award-winning author, Huma Qureshi to celebrate the publication of her novel Playing Games. Playing Games is a gorgeous, tender and intimate story of two sisters caught up in the joys and pains of art and family, a poignant story of love and betrayal. 

Huma Qureshi is the critically acclaimed author of four books. Her warm and uplifting memoir, How We Met: A Memoir of Love and Other Misadventures was shortlisted for the Books Are My Bag Indie Book Awards and selected as a Stylist pick for best non-fiction 2021. Her short story collection Things We Do Not Tell The People We Love, a breathtaking collection of stories about our most intimate relationships, and the secrets, misunderstandings and silences that haunt them, was nominated for both The Jhalak Prize and the Edge Hill Prize, while her story The Jam Maker won the Harper's Bazaar short story prize. Playing Games is her debut novel.
