I, not being a fan of poems and not really knowing much about poetry had only heard of Rumi recently after reading The Forty Rules of Love by Elif Shafak. Once I read the book I was just intrigued and had to know more about Rumi and his ways. The book is translated from Persian to English and It amazes me how Mojaddedi kept the verses in rhyme which must have been a difficult task. There is a section at the end which explains the Quranic and other references which I think is great. For those poem lovers, I would definitely recommend this book as itβs been said that itβs the best Persian to English translation you will find.
