Raw review alert: I literally just put this book down and I have to say this was such a satisfying and exciting read. Purity is real in-depth story, fully delving into characters and lives and situations and just so compelling! For those of you who like stories with a side order of psycho, it also features yet another crazy female character in Purity's mother - she is a barrel of madness, often EXTREMELY frustratingly so. But mostly I love the historical narrative and the secrets it brings, from East Berlin 1989 to California 2015. Makes a change from The Corrections - Jonathan Franzen really can write a novel! Thanks to Daunt books for the recommendation!
