I came across Zoella ‘s book review video on YouTube and was enticed by the cover of this book - by the end of it I truly understood what they meant by “you should never judge a book by its cover". It’s a short novel, which was great as that’s the only reason I was able to finish it. Reading the blurb, I assumed this was going to be about two young adults around 16/17 but oh, how I was wrong. In fact it’s about two boys aged 12 and 14. It was all just a bit bizarre to me. It's definitely not one I'd read again or even keep. What happens in the story and even Joseph's personality was just unrealistic to me. I don't believe a child could be that mature or level headed in the situation he was in. "Jack, tells the gripping story of Joseph, who joins his family. Damaged in prison, Joseph wants nothing more than to find his baby daughter, Jupiter, whom he has never seen. When Joseph has begun to believe he’ll have a future, he is confronted by demons from his past that force a tragic sacrifice.“ It sounds way more interesting then it actually is.
