So Iā€™m sad to say I didnā€™t enjoy this book as much as I hoped I would. I was expecting so much more but it just felt rushed. As a reader, I wouldā€˜ve been content with It Ends With Us as the ending was left open but hopeful. I finished that book feeling like Atlas and Lily were going to end up together and I was happy with that.

If it wasnā€™t for #booktok, people begging for a sequel and due time taken to write a follow up novelā€¦this one could have been great.

Having said all of that, I did love reading Atlasā€™ POV on things especially about the past and present. He was a sweetheart and was exactly what Lily needed. It was sad and sweet how they both found comfort in each other as kids and even though they were going through so much still managed to love each other.

The main thing that irked me was Atlas having a 12 year old therapist? To be clear, Atlas is a 30 something year old man and I just donā€™t see a 12 year old giving such amazing advice. I know itā€™s a novel but no, this was stupid and inappropriate.

I hated Ryle. I really thought he was going to redeem himself in this book but he was a narcissistic piece of work! I wish Atlas wasnā€™t so nice and just knocked him out cos he really did deserve it the cocky little douche lol.
As an aside, I absolutely adored Alyssa and Marshall. They were such a great support system for Lily, even though technically Alyssaā€™s loyalties should lie with her brother Ryle. Alyssa still stood by Lily through it all, and was an amazing friend.

I didnā€™t hate this but I definitely wonā€™t be picking it up again. I donā€™t know if Iā€™d recommend it either.

Soy Tanya. Iā€™m the youngest of the group...and I donā€™t really know what to say except that I find these things really awkward. When Linda first came to me with this idea of an online bookclub/review page I was 100% down, although I was a little worried and felt like backing out on many occasions as I felt like my reviews were awful - Iā€™m not good with words at all. If anyone was to ask me a year ago how I found a book, Iā€™d reply: ā€œgoodā€ - thatā€™s my review done. But being part of this club with such amazing girls has really made me a lot more confident and comfortable. So Iā€™ll forever be grateful. Itā€™s always a laugh when weā€™re together, we are guaranteed to get side-tracked but our meetings are always productive and a lot of fun. This is just the beginning for us. I like reading all kinds of books from different genres but prefer romance/YA. With work being full on I like feel-good books that are light and easy. Iā€™m currently in the middle of reading a few books lol but sticking to The Zanzibar Wife by Rebecca Rodriquez. Reading for me is a form of escapism, just getting away from the stress of real life and getting lost in book and falling in love with characters. I canā€™t list my top 5 or even top 10 so here are a few of my all-time favourites: The Sicilian by Mario Puzo To all the boys Iā€™ve loved before by Jenny Han, A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hoseeini, The Forty Rules of Love by Shafa Kelif Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith and Moonlight Over Manhattan by Sarah Morgan.
