I wrestled with myself for 2 days before buying this and the person I bought it from summed it up perfectly- surely the 7 books had a great ending, what happens if we don't like this one? Rest assured that the different medium this story is written in makes it feel refreshing rather than recycled. It's a script not prose. I won't mention any spoilers but for lovers of the original series there is a great opportunity to relish the nostalgia. The new characters assert themselves within the first 2 scenes and the story is so unexpected it feels like something new altogether! The journey of characters close to our hearts continues beautifully and with so many surprises, you relive all the joy of reading a Harry Potter story for the first time.
